November 5, Concord, NC--- This afternoon, alternating practice sessions are occurring until 4:00pm, with the mandatory Drivers Meeting at 4:45. Qualifying commences at 5:00 with SK Modified time trials, Super Late Model time trials, Modified time trials, TBARA time trials, SK heat races (15-laps), Vintage heat races (8-lap), Modified heat races (20-laps), Super Late Model heat races (20-laps), and USA Modifieds heat races (10-lapsZ) which completes Friday’s racing action.

Tomorrow morning, the pits open at 8, and the grandstands at 10. Registration and inspections run from 8-9. There is alternating practice for all divisions from 9-10:30.

Of course, the long-awaited Long Island Motorsports News Meet & Greet will be held from 11-12:30 behind the main concession stand. The Pit Party will be held from 11:30-1:00.

The Little Shootout Peddle Car Races will happen toward the end of the Pit Party. Rumor has it that Eric Beer’s son Austin has entered again this year.  He seems to always win the Peddle Car race. Austin’s been winning so long that people are wondering if there is an age limit to this race. Isn’t Austin about ready to collect Social Security?

The Modified consi is scheduled at 1:15 with 2 25-lap consi’s scheduled. Features immediately follow.
